Interim suits a car that is driven hard between annual services. Full service is the yearly health check. Major service adds the longer-interval items such as plugs and extra filters. If you are unsure, tell us the mileage and we will match the checklist.
Guides from the ramp
Short notes we share with customers before they book. Open a guide to read the detail.
A VT30 lists defects as minor, major or dangerous. Dangerous defects mean the car should not be driven until repaired. We can often fix brakes, lights, tyres and suspension the same day and retest on site.
Cars built around 2017 onwards often use R1234yf rather than R134a. The gases are not interchangeable. We identify the system before a re-gas so the compressor is not damaged.
Many belts are due between 60,000 and 100,000 miles, or by age even if the mileage is low. A snapped belt can bend valves. Bring the service book and we will check the due date before the strip-down.
